Last week over 18,000 enthusiastic ed-tech educators and industry representatives took over San Antonio for the annual ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) Conference. FableVisionaries Peter, Paul, Gary, Shelby, and Sarah flew in and met with some incredible people, saw some incredible booths, and ate some incredible guacamole. ISTE is one of the biggest conferences we attend every year and it never fails to disappoint. We had Afinia’s 3D printer running throughout the day and Mayan Mysteries by Dig-It! Games on an iPad to be tried out; the FableVision booth drew in some pretty awesome traffic. In addition, our Second Annual ISTE Treasure Hunt, modeled on the Snappz Treasure Hunt game that Sparkbridge Interactive did for the Vancouver Aquarium, is an interactive treasure hunt that allowed participants to travel around the conference floor, explore some of our past projects, and meet our clients. Folks were all smiles for our ISTE Treasure Hunt!

(Thanks to all our friends who took part in the Treasure Hunt: AWE Digital Learning Solutions, Curriculum Associates, Dig-It! Games, EPS School Specialty, Easy Student Publishing, FableVision Learning, Learning.com, Maryland Public Television, National Wildlife Federation, Scholastic, and Wacom!) Treasure Hunt winners got books, DVDs, mugs, posters, customized icons by FableVision artists, Wacom tablets (thank you, Wacom!), and building licenses of some of FableVision Learning’s software.

San Antonio's River Walk was just as beautiful as we'd hoped it would be.

The Alamo, right in San Antonio's downtown area, shows off the perfect combination of American history, charm, and modernity.

FableVision's founder, Peter H. Reynolds, spent some time creating personalized watercolor name badges for our booth workers and FableVision Ambassadors.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to ask questions, check things out, or just say hello! It was wonderful seeing everyone.
