When Charles Darwin went to the Galapagos Islands, what did he miss? This is the question presented in the Natural Selection interactive museum exhibit at the New York Hall of Science.
In the kiosk activity, users navigate through a Charles Darwin's Galapagos Islands travel journal to learn about the finches he documented including the Medium Ground Finch. Clicking on images, users learn how scientist returned to study the Medium Ground Finch in different seasons. During the activity, FableVision enabled users to mimic the scientific process by measuring the finches' beaks and recording the measurements. The Studio used a unique style using photo collage, photorealistic textures, and animation for the interactive exhibit
