Peter H. Reynolds


Peter is a New York Times best-selling children's book author illustrator ( Judy Moody, The Dot, Ish, Sky Color, Someday ), selling over 20 million books in over 25 languages around the globe. In 1996, he founded FableVision as a social change agency to help move the world to a better place by creating "stories that matter, stories that move." FableVision's signature blend of positive media, storytelling and interactive technologies is sought after by a host of best-in-class organizations, such as PBS KIDS, Reading Is Fundamental, the Jim Henson Company, and National Wildlife Federation. Peter also founded FableVision Learning, a K-12 educational publishing company, as well as the nonprofit Reynolds Center for Teaching, Learning, and Creativity, and independent book and creativity shop called The Blue Bunny Bookstore in historic Dedham Square, Massachusetts. Paul Reynolds


Paul serves as CEO of FableVision, which is co-located at the Boston Children's Museum in the city's Innovation District. Paul has helped build the multimillion-dollar firm into an internationally recognized multimedia developer and publisher, with partnerships, strategic alliances and clients across many industries - broadcast, museum, institutional, K12, educational publishing, technology and research. When he's not entrenched in all things FableVision, Paul teaches digital media production at Boston College, where he has served as adjunct faculty for over two decades. Paul is also a children's book author - collaborating with his twin brother Peter H. Gary Goldberger


As president and co-founder of FableVision, Gary Goldberger oversees the production of FableVision’s award-winning media products. Since the company's launch, Gary has held many positions, and he approaches each project with a multi-faceted perspective. Gary is an expert in designing and developing innovative games for learners of all ages, and is a frequent speaker nationally on the role of games in education. Jordan Bach 

Senior Developer

A lead developer on many high-profile and kid-focused products since 2002, Jordan has created fantastic experiences for the web, mobile, console, and beyond. Prior to FableVision, Jordan was a Lead Software Engineer at Blue Fang Games, Senior Engineer at 360KID, and tutored and lectured in multimedia courses at Harvard University's Division of Continuing Education. He studied math and music at Oberlin College, and has tutored high-school math. Learn more about Jordan.


Samantha Bissonnette


Sam joins the FableVision team as a producer after graduating from the Technology, Innovation, and Education program at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education where she studied design, animation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive education. While there, Sam consulted for Sesame Workshop on innovating in the field of early education. Prior to graduate school, Sam managed streaming content on the digital team at PBS KIDS, worked as a production assistant on WordGirl and Astroblast!, and taught as a preschool teacher in Arlington, MA. Sam holds an undergraduate degree in Child Development and Art History from Tufts University. In her producer role at FableVision, Sam hopes to positively impact the lives of children through educational media. Learn more about Sam.


Matt Brelsford


Matt has been developing games, websites, and digital toys for over 10 years. He studied theatrical lighting design and computer science at the University of Vermont. After graduation, he moved to Boston and began his career as a developer, working as a lead developer at the Center for Engineering Education and Outreach, and as a senior developer at Sapient Nitro. At FableVision, he uses Unity3D and HTML5 to build rich interactive experiences. James Collins

Director of Strategic Partnerships and Government Relations

James builds public and private collaborations around new technologies, stories, and learning models. He also leads work on several government grant proposals. James has sought to inspire learners through his work at the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Educational Technology and the Smithsonian Institution’s Center for Learning and Digital Access where he focused on game and ed tech policy and research. James also co-founded the first federal Climate Change Game Jam, led the Equity team for the White House's National Maker Faire, and has taught Computer Science in university and afterschool settings. He is currently a member of the Montgomery College Game Degree Program’s Advisory Board and is a licensed attorney.


Mitul Daiyan

Communications Strategist

Mitul works to share the story of FableVision through strategic marketing efforts and communicates with new and current studio clients to explore creative partnership and project opportunities. She is the co-founder of Barakat Bundle, a social enterprise that was inspired by the Finnish baby box and geared towards reducing infant and maternal mortality in South Asia. She holds a masters degree with a focus on social entrepreneurship from Harvard Divinity School. Learn more about Mitul.


Margarita Dekoli

Senior Developer

Margarita’s passion is transforming powerful ideas into tools for the creative hands and minds of learners and tinkerers. She has a Computer Engineering degree from the University of Patras in Greece and a MS from MIT Media Lab. After completing her Masters degree in 2003, she worked with the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the Media Lab as a member of the development team of Scratch, a visual programming language for kids and adults to create their own interactive stories, animations, games, and art. Sarah Ditkoff

Communications Director

Balancing her day between client services, proposals, business development, and marketing, Sarah works to ensure the highest possible success of projects by working with clients and FableVision’s production team. She also drives the Studio’s communication efforts as the head of marketing, and works to identify opportunities to amplify marketing and outreach efforts through studio channels. Bob Flynn

Director of Art and Animation

Bob is a cartoonist, illustrator, and animator specializing in character design, game design, and drawing weird little creatures. Since joining FableVision in 2004, he has collaborated on numerous projects, applying a variety of stylistic approaches to animated films, games, websites, apps, and books for clients such as the National Academy of Sciences, PBS, and the Denver Museum of Nature Science. Michael Fogarasi


Michael joined FableVision's production team after earning bachelor’s degrees in film studies and german from Boston College. At BC he enjoyed exploring television, film, and documentary production and pursued these skills through internships at MIT and Brookline Access Television. While at FableVision, he's produced projects for clients such as Sesame Workshop,, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Originally from Michigan, Michael spent the majority of his life overseas and has a passion for all things international. Learn more about Michael


Brian Grossman

Technical Director

Despite the fact that his true talents lie in collapsing cardboard boxes armed only with a key, recognizing celebrity voices in cartoons, and identifying city skylines from mere silhouettes, Brian has managed to mount a successful career in educational technology. He holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in Computer Science from M.I.T. As Technical Director, Brian oversees all things technology at FableVision. Leigh Hallisey

Creative Director

Before joining FableVision, Leigh Hallisey was an adjunct professor in the Film and Television department of Boston University’s College of Communication. With a master’s in popular culture from Bowling Green State University and a bachelor’s in American studies from Wellesley College, Leigh uses her knowledge of the world around us to increase project relevance and enhance learning. Learn more about Leigh.


Diana “Didi” Hatcher

Lead Animator

Diana "Didi" Hatcher is an animator/illustrator at FableVision. Born and raised in Bulgaria, Didi began drawing as soon as she was able to hold a pencil. Didi received her bachelor’s in animation from Harvard University. Learn more about Didi.


Mikaela Johnson

Associate Producer

Born and raised in Needham, MA, Mikaela earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Colby College. At Colby, Mikaela was a member of the women’s squash team and worked as a research assistant in the Child Development Lab. While at the Lab, she spent hours in preschool classrooms collecting data for studies pertaining to children’s cognition. Prior to FableVision, Mikaela developed her passion for educational media during her two summers interning at WGBH, first as a radio intern for On Campus and then as a production assistant for High School Quiz Show. Christina Kelly

Production Designer

Originally from San Diego, CA, Christina graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a degree in Illustration in 2013 and spent her years since working in the animation industry. As a character designer, background, and prop artist, she helped make the art for over 50 episodes of the Sprout show Astroblast!, as well as WordGirl, SciGirls, and the Annecy Film Festival featured piece Rhino Named Paul. Along with her design work in animation, she has also worked on countless games and interactive content for Sesame Street, PBS KIDS, and more. Adam Landry

Executive Vice President

Adam provides financial leadership in order to ensure the success of FableVision’s mission. With a bachelor’s in finance from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a master’s from the University of Massachusetts-Boston, he provides insight on many fronts for the Studio, including business development, marketing, and operations. Adam spent his early days working for Wonder Bread and participated in their management-training program. John Lechner

Art Director

As a founding member of FableVision, John has been a contributor to countless projects over the years. John is an illustrator, animator, designer, programmer, puppeteer, and storyteller. He has directed or co-directed many of FableVision's classic animated films, including The Blue Shoe, The North Star, and He Was Me. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, John has also written and illustrated four books for children, and draws a weekly webcomic. Learn more about John


Loren Lee-Flynn

UX/UI Designer

As User Experience/User Interface Designer, Loren works with team members to plan out websites, games, and interactives that feel smooth and enjoyable for the user, as well as meet learning goals. Loren accomplishes this by working across many phases of project development, from wireframes and user flow documents used in the early planning stages to original designs and finished artwork. With a bachelor’s degree in illustration and American culture studies from Washington University in St. Louis and a master’s in early childhood education/creative arts in learning from Lesley University, Loren draws on her background as an artist and teacher in everything she does. Shelby Marshall

Vice President of
Strategic Partnerships
and Product Solutions

Shelby works with clients and partners to explore potential partnership opportunities and to map out the strategy and “ecosystem” for complex projects. He has a bachelor's in Biology from Cornell University, an MAT-Museum Education from George Washington University, and more than 35 years of experience designing and producing educational materials and experiences — including countless software products, websites, animated films, and books. Hannah O’Neal

Artist and Animator

Hannah grew up on an exotic animal farm in southern Illinois. It was this environment that cultivated, inevitably, a great love for life and for expressing that love through the best way humans can — art. She attended Savannah College of Art and Design, where she graduated with a bachelor’s in animation. Since arriving at FableVision, she has worked on animation for The North Star film and several games and websites, such as Jim Henson's Dinosaur TrainLearn more about Hannah.


Peter Stidwill

Executive Producer

As FableVision’s Executive Producer, Peter leads the company’s effort to manage multiple animations, games, websites, videos, and museum exhibits simultaneously. He oversees the staffing of the creative studio, ensuring that teams are set up to meet the varied needs of all projects and clients. Peter has over fifteen years of design and production experience in game-based learning and educational technology. He has produced award-winning interactive content for the Learning Games Network, the BBC, and the UK Parliament. Peter holds a B.A. and M.Eng. from Cambridge University (UK) where he specialized in digital learning. Learn more about Peter.


Tone Thyne

Vice President of Creative

Tone oversees FableVision’s development of original animated properties, including television, games, apps, and other digital content. He was the Supervising Producer of the Emmy award-winning Wonder Pets! (Nick Jr.), Go Baby! (Disney Junior), and Laurie Berkner’s co-creation Sing It, Laurie! (Sprout.) During his 11 years at Walt Disney Feature Animation, Tone contributed to blockbuster films including The Lion King, Pocahontas, Tarzan, and Toy Story, among others.  He has produced animated projects for VH-1, Mattel, Nickelodeon, PBS, and has personally animated segments for Sesame Street. His work as a Writer and Director includes The Wonder Pets! 3rd & Bird!, Small Potatoes, Sing It Laurie! and Tobi! Tone is co-creator and co-executive producer of The Adventures of Napkin Man! currently airing on CBC in Canada.


Sam Zollman

Production Assistant

Raised in Vermont, Sam's passion for educational media began at Tufts University where he graduated with a self-designed degree exploring how to teach children about climate change through televisual media. Prior to joining the staff at FableVision Studios, he spent a year in Spain as an English Language Assistant. Sam was also a marketing intern at FableVision, and has interned at WGBH and Seftel Productions. At the studio, he assists the production team with scheduling, client communications, QA testing, and project management. Learn more about Sam.

Keith Zoo

Lead Artist

As a lead artist at FableVision, Keith works with clients and the art team to establish the visual direction, character design, and look and feel for a wide range of projects, including online games, websites, and mobile apps.
